Company Overview
Sabi Ventures is a U.S.-based technology studio building custom browser extensions, integrations, and business automation tools. We combine technical expertise with an agile, problem-solving approach to help clients work smarter and deliver better experiences.
Our name was inspired by a family safari in South Africa — an experience that reminded us of the bigger world beyond our screens. Immersed in nature, far from deadlines and devices, we saw how connection, exploration, and perspective can reshape how we approach our work and our lives.
The name Sabi carries layered meaning. In the Tsonga language, it means “danger,” reflecting the courage it takes to venture into new territory. In Japanese, sabi speaks to “the beauty that comes with age, wear, and imperfection” — the patina of time that tells a story. Together, these meanings reflect our belief that great work comes from balancing innovation with experience, and boldness with perspective.

Founder & Lead Software Engineer
Bobby is a veteran software engineering leader with decades of experience delivering high-quality software in financial services, insurance, and technology. As a former Senior Director of Software Engineering, he has led teams in building products from the ground up, modernizing legacy systems, and accelerating delivery through agile best practices.
He launched Sabi Ventures to bring that same expertise to smaller, high-impact projects — delivering practical, elegant solutions that solve real-world problems.
